| October 09, 2006 was our second anniversary. I can't believe it's already been 2 years! We kept it really simple and quie. Here are some pictures of our dinner!
Dinner at Traxx, Union Station. Where we got married 2 years ago!
My bass with fennel. Yum yum!
Me in front of my dinner. I love food!
Ernie in front of his miso skirt steak. We served this same thing during our wedding.
Enjoying our dessert at Nick & Stef's in downtown. They serve great chocolate souffle's! | | |

| Christmas came by quick and left quick! It is always nice seeing family during the holidays.
This Christmas, however, is a sad one for my friend. Her mother passed away from lung cancer on Christmas Eve, early in the morning. I had spoken with her the night before her mother's death and we didn't know that she would leave so soon. My friend called me at 7:25am and I knew why she was calling. I was almost scared to answer, but I picked up. It's hard to talk to someone during those times. You just don't know what to say. We just shed tears together.
This year, we've heard a lot of bad news from our friends concerning their parents or themselves with different illnesses, esp. cancer. It's scary how you can do everything right, but you don't have control of what can happen.

Yesterday Ernie and I celebrated our one year anniversary! I can't
believe a year has gone by already. I feel like our wedding was just
last month, yet it seems so long. It's been a great year, full of
laughter, fun and tears! I've learned so much about being a wife, but I
still have so much to learn. Ernie's been a wonderful husband. It's
still wierd calling him my husband! haha.
Everyone will ask me how it is being married, and I will just tell them
how wonderful it is being able to wake up next to someone
everyday. I thought being single was fun and it is, but once your
married, it is the best feeling. Sometimes, I feel old though, but it's
great not to go up during the bouquet toss at weddings now!! The things
we've been through in one year, will only be multiplied in the next
year. Lot's to look forward too. Congrats to us! One year down, many
more to go!!

| Well after months and months of hearing about this Xanga, I finally
became a member. I haven't had time to figure this thing out yet, so
you can just look on my husband's xanga in the meantime!
